Soccer - Boys

The STARS Boys Soccer Program competes in the Tri-Metro Conference and will be in Section 3AA for the 2023 and 2024 school years.  

The team has advanced to the state tournament four times in the past six seasons, winning the State Championship in 2019. In 2023, the STARS won the Conference Championship and finished runner in Section 3AA. AHA had 8 players that earned All-Conference recognition in 2023. 

Three of our STARS have been recognized as Mr. Soccer Minnesota over the past five seasons - Conor O'Rourke (2019), Carter Hermanson (2021), and Everett Hoeppner (2023). 

Our Head Coach, James See, was named the Class AA Coach of the Year and the Section 3AA Coach of the Year in 2023.

The STARS finished 15-1-2, with key victories over DeLaSalle, St. Thomas Academy, Southwest Christian, Cristo Rey, and Worthington. 

AHA traditionally offers four levels of participation - Varsity, JV, B-Squad, and C-Squad. They usually practice after school in the StarDome or SW turfed fields.
